1. Why should I use Sportszone?
Sportszone has been established to assist with the administration of team events where one person needs to contact many others in order to co-ordinate fixtures & events, Team Coaching and Player Registration.
Our simple-to-use technology enables you to send immediate 'one to many' messages from either the Internet or any telephone.
Market research has shown that event co-ordination and player registration are the largest and most costly headaches for all administrators.
In solving the time and cost issues surrounding running your team, club, league or training centre, Sportszone tackles these issues by providing a time efficient and almost zero-cost solution.
Sportszone eases the pain and lets everyday technology take the strain.
2. How do I know the messages have been received?
The Sportszone service (via access through your team's unique 'phone number) has a message tracking function that displays which messages have been sent and at which time
3. Is my personal data secure?
Sportszone has partnered with Intelliplus plc, who also host the 'Boys & Girls' and 'The Salon' interactive web / telephone services , along with many other Channel 4 productions,. Their facilities are both technologically and physically secure using both the latest hardware and software protections available today.
4. Will you release our personal data to third parties?
Sportszone will not distribute your data to anyone without your specific permission. However, one of our many services is to provide benefits to our users and to this end we are often approached by providers of bona fide sports related products and services. They may, solely, at their cost, be permitted by Sportszone to contact our users.
5. How long does it take to receive a message?
In extensive testing, via the internet and 'phone, the longest time a message has taken from 'send' to 'receipt' is 14 seconds and no messages have been lost, nor returned.
6. Why don't you use email to send your messages?
In our market research we found that most likely Sportszone users will have a mobile phone available whilst email tends only to be available at home or from a fixed location.
We also found that statistically, less than half of the UK population have email accounts whereas now over 90% have mobile phones.
7. Can I use Sportszone to arrange fixtures?
Yes, you can leave any message to either an individual or a group on Sportszone providing the message is not offensive, abusive or inappropriate.
8. What does it cost?
Sportszone is not a premium rate "rip-off" service. It has been created by people who have played and administered junior, amateur, semi-professional and professional sport, and who have experienced the headaches associated with organising these everyday team activities. To dial Sportszone it only costs 10p per minute and an SMS (text) message only costs the recipient the standard charge of 25p. Whilst only receiving a tiny proportion of the charge, Sportszone restricts the number of messages sent to an individual to avoid misuse of a system designed to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of sports administration.
9. What's in it for my club?
From its share of the net receipts, Sportszone returns a percentage back to your club. So not only does Sportszone solve your administrative and communication worries and save you time and money, it also gives you cash back.
10. When can I start using Sportszone?
Immediately you have registered and we have given you a Sportszone ID and Pin number. You are then able to securely record your player details directly on this website.
